To create a blurry background, you’re going to want to create a shallow depth of field as shallow as you can. Use a 50mm lens and put the camera on the Aperture Priority mode indicated by the “A’ on your camera’s dial located on top of the camera. If you only have the lens your camera came with then i suggest you stand as close to the subject as you can get while maintaining a safe and personal distance without the subject freaking out on you because you’re all up in their face. Set a large aperture which is a low f number like 1.8 or f/2. Lastly, get your subject as far away from the background ass you can to give the background that blurred out look while your subject is still perfectly in focus.
