Anyone can be a photographer now these days due to modern technology, but lomography captures the days of photography though aged lenses and open mindedness.


What is Lomography?

Lomography is depicted as a style of photography that utilizes vintage camera models and equipment to makes images. The purpose of this style is to experience and grasp the origin of photo making, and mainstream vintage photography.


Lomography is a fairly recent style of photography that erupted in early nineties Austria.

Founders in Lomographic Society experimented with cheap Russian toy cameras, and found unique outcomes of high contrasted photos with vignettes and soft focus.


Lomography cameras use plastic lenses instead of glass.


Referred as an art movement, lomography produces images that can be extremely unpredictable and sporadic due to faulty equipment.


The beauty within lomography lies in it’s versatility and ability to be used by professionals and beginners at equal value. Interested in becoming a Lomographer?
