Erik Johnasson creates unbelievable photographs. And when I say create, I mean create. The photograph begins in his mind and he then sketches, models, and shoots. On his blog, he displays videos of his creative process. (The video below shows the process of his photograph “Landfall” which has 230 layers.)
He picked up his interest for retouching while a computer engineering student, and today is a prolific artist. Erik works on both personal projects as well as commissions. “Every new project is a new challenge and the goal is to realize it as realistic as possible.”
His website is awesome! Take a gander!
