Flickr is more than just a tool to upload images

In class, we use Flickr to upload our images and present them for our critiques. If all you have done on Flickr is upload your images, you are really missing out on a lot of cool stuff. I’ve been using Flickr for years, to upload my own photos and also to find some interesting ideas. One of the best ways to become a better photographer is to look at other people’s images. One of Flickr’s best features is “Explore.” Random photos come up that have been deemed “interesting” by Flickr. I am going to go on Flickr right now and hit the Explore tab and see what comes up.

I cannot embed the photos on here because of copyright issues, but those are just a few. Sometimes seeing just one photo can give you an idea for an entire project!

All you have to do is click this.
