Now I know that that this doesn’t necessarily involve a photographer but a while back I stumbled across a YouTube video from Freddie Wong, who makes action videos. This one however was created through the process of taking thousands of light painting photos and throwing them together in the end. Due to his high following on YouTube all of it is considered professional included the equipment and techniques they used. They used a studio quality lighting system to get the light-effects just right. Ive attached a behind the scenes video as well which goes further in-depth to the process. Just in-case you don’t know stop-motion involves using a huge variety of pictures, which when put together, make a video.
