Long Exposure to Fireflies

These are just some cool photos I found from the photographer Tsuneaki Hiramatsu, who shot the photos for fun and have they have became an internet sensation. When he takes the photos he uses a slow shutter-speed and varying exposures depending on the luminescence of the bugs when they light up and the background. It’s called long exposure photography so everything remains sharp. Here is a few of the photos:ImageImageImageImageI personally find these photos fascinating and love them. The colors of a natural creature are magnificent with the backgrounds in the images the photographer uses. It’s like light-painting with nature.
