Lomography is a type of photography I have been interested in for a few years now. Lomography emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. This photographic spontaneity has created a large following of “Lomographers” who are intrigued by the unpredictable distortions and perspectives. These cameras can create over-saturated colors, odd exposures, blurry images and maybe even a “Happy accident” or two.
These cameras are small in size, have very user friendly controls, and have the ability to shoot in low light conditions. You can also get different types of these cameras. One of the most known cameras are the Diana models. You can get Diana models with large flashes, a fisheye lens, a regular camera with no flash, and many more. All, however, are film. There are also other Lomo brands that have panoramic capabilities or the ability to shoot four images in one shot.
Check out the official Lomography website here.
